Christmas Events

I cannot believe it is time to start talking about everything I am up to in the run up to Christmas! It really does not feel long since we were at it last year. Last year was my first Christmas running Sarah Leask Studio full time so I really went for it with events to ensure I had enough money coming in to cover the dreaded tax bill in January as well as the quieter period from January through to March. I survived and this year my plans are still pretty ambitious although I am travelling a lot less so it should be a little less tiring, thankfully!

I can’t wait to show you all in person what I’ve been creating for these events. We’ve got really lovely new Christmas cards with an arched card design printed on beautifully textured card, these were so popular at my pop up shop in Hy earlier this month and I wasn’t even sure if I was too early putting them out on not! Very glad I did. Alongside those we will have my Christmas Robin kitchen textile collection which I am really proud of! The design is my take on a robin illustration and to be honest, some of the products could be used all year round if you so desired as it isn’t too Christmassy! I always try to think outside of the box and create a design which is a little different to what is already available - I really hope you love it as much as I do.

I’ve mentioned this a couple of times on my Instagram, I also have two new products which I have never sold before launching. Everything will be launched on my website on 1st November, including these two new products. They arrived last week and I am so happy with them, any guesses what they could be? They aren’t Christmas specific but fit in nicely with my current range of products.

A busy few weeks

I will be kicking things off with a doubling up on events for the first weekend, Crathes Castle will be my last out door event of the year! Yes, I will be outdoors in November! Find out more about the event here.

Trend Aberdeen was fantastic last year and as was Crathes so I will be attending both with the help of my sales rep, Dougy! More information about Trend Christmas Fayre including who else will be exhibiting can be found here.

Blair Castle is another beautiful venue and event being run by Exclusively Highlands. Find out more about Blair here here.

Newtonmore Christmas Market will be manned by my lovely mother in law, it is a really lovely fair which all the locals come out to support. If you are in the are this is well worth checking out

Eden Court! I loved this event last year, so much so that I will be there twice. The people of Inverness and the surrounding area were so friendly and I was so grateful that so many of you chose to spend your money on supporting small businesses.
