How To Book A Commission

Wondering how to commission me? I’ve created a step by step guide below for you.

Go Bespoke

Creating bespoke artwork is a part of my job that I really love! Knowing that I get to create a really personalised piece that will be cherished by the recipient is really special.

step by step guide to commissions

  • Get in touch with me by emailing me at hello@sarahleaskstudio.co.uk along with your commission idea. Photos are helpful at this stage but not absolutely necessary, please send any reference images you have along with your enquiry.

  • I will provide you with a cost for creating the piece. I will work to your deadline (if you have one!) as long as I have space in my diary. My availability varies, I do often get booked up a couple of months in advance so something to bear in mind when you are reaching out initially.

  • If you are happy with the cost and lead time, I will send you through an invoice for a 50% deposit, this secures your spot in my diary. You can pay online or through bank transfer.

  • I work from photos, it can be from multiple images if you don’t have one that includes everything. Email is the best way to send images as it doesn’t reduce the quality. Screenshots are okay but the higher quality the image, the more detail I can capture.

  • Once completed, I will get in touch with images of the finished artwork for your approval. I’ll send through your 2nd invoice with the remaining balance and I’ll need you to confirm the delivery details. Postage will be charged for accordingly.

  • Your personalised artwork will be sent out to you carefully packed and protected. I normally use Royal Mail, unless otherwise requested!
